I decided to change the title I used previously. I think this one better portrays what the post is really about. It´s not just about me and Texas, but about me in Texas and how I see Texas from my perspective. This way, I admitt I might be subjective now and then.

I´ve done so much this last week, that you might not believe me, if I wrote it in here. 🙂 First of all, I could see and participate on the Sunday services and get to know even more people! I am starting to recognize them and know a little about them, so that´s good!

I prayed on the city council meeting (in the beginning of the meeting). It is so weird and so great to see people caring so much for God´s blessing, or at least not be as hostile to the Christianity to want it out of everything.

I help out a lot in the Senior center- I mean, I don´t do much, but I spend there mondays and wednesdays (mostly until 2 pm).

We celebrated Juneteenth, went on to the Farm Bureau Party, and few more social events. My husband Pavel makes fun of me, that we just go on parties in here. It might be actually true! 🙂

With pastor Walter, who helps out in the church, and his wife Betty, we went on few visitations. He is so amazing with people! I was just astonished by his people skills. He knew how to make them laught, how to talk to them about their struggles, to encourage them and even console them. Nothing felt forced. I am really looking forward to spending more time with them and learning from him, because I really would like to be that kind of a person around others!

Tomorrow I am preaching, so I really hope, that will go well. 🙂

I add a picture of deer we saw with pastor Walter and his wife Betty.
