Report about my summer in USA
Firstly I am very glad that I had this chance to come to this congregation and I am thankful that people received me and I am thankful for hospitality. I had busy time with pastor Kathleen and with pastor Ryan. With pastor Katheleen we had Office hours. In her office we found many old slovak books such as old songbooks, old bibles and also book about history of Slovak Sion synod. I found lots of information, what were a new for me about Slovaks who come to USA and based new congregations. Many of them were from my neighborhood and many last names sound familiar to me.

Confirmation class
Usually we have once week confirmation class. It is something what we do not have in seminary. I like that I can see materials and manners of teaching.

Bible study
Usually we have with pastor Ryan bible study in New Haven.  bible study is often before Sunday service. We had also bible study with group of men at breakfast. We had bible studies in hauseholds. Bible study is good for meeting with people and it is also form of pastoral sevice.

Sunday service
I had an option to be a part of Sunday worship in Holy Trinity church in Trumbull in New Haven and in Stafford. Some of my tasks were reading from Bible, helping with communion, singing liturgy in slovak language. I was part of evening services and prayer gatherings in the middle of week.

Camp Calumet
I’ve spent one week in the Camp Calumet. I was with new people, we singed song, that were new for me, we had  outdoor worship, time for prayers, time for study Bible, time for games, for fun and for talks.

Bible school (evening camp)
We had nice week In New Haven at Bible school (evning camp) with nice young people. I helped in kitchen, with some activities and again I met new people.
Other activities
With pastor Kathleen I was at the funeral, at the pastoral visit in nurse house, meeting of pastors, conference, I was part of activities in Trumbull such as bingo, concert, night in church and other.
