So, today marks my first monthiversary of my second visit to USA. That means five more months! Time sure flies on this side of the pond.

What’s new with me, you ask? Well I had my first sermon last Sunday! Not my best work, I must admit, but there were some who said it spoke to them – so I’m glad for that. I quoted John Wayne and Tolkien so it couldn’t have been so bad. 🙂

I also got to help out with the Communion.

What else? I decided which courses I want to take at Gettysburg:

  1. Studies in the Epistles of the New Testament
  2. Luther and Augustine on Salvation, Truth, and Christian Life
  3. Chance, Necessity, Love: A Pastoral Theology of Cancer

So I’m already looking forward to the classes and the library, which I heard was very good.

I had my weekly pastor’s Bible study again where we discussed the Scripture readings for the next Sunday.

I usually take pictures of places that I visit during my week, so I can remember what I did. Since I don’t have a lot of pictures this week and it’s already past midnight, I can’t remember anything else worth mentioning in the blog. If I remember anything I’ll write another post. Next week is going to be interesting – tomorrow I’m having lunch with one of the pastors from Reading, there is a very interesting breakfast/bible study waiting for me on Friday and (as I mentioned already) I’m going to help out with the baptism and worship at Christ Lutheran church with pastor Katie.

So much for this week. And here are the photos
