Even though this post is called Caverns of Sonora and Colorado- let me start even before that. We visited bison farm (+ they had some donkeys)!

On our ways to Sonora we stopped by San Antonio to see  Alamo.

And then we went to Sonora, where I had to face my fears! 🙂 First of all. Being locked up under the ground for 2 hours, with really few exit routes, which I didn´t knew. Then definitely claustrophobia (which I didn´t knew I had, but yes- obviously!) and the fear of heights (looking down the Devil´s pit). Ursula, pastors daughter sometimes wonders, how I go through my life with so many fears. 🙂

On 13th we flew into Denver, CO for theological conference. It was really nice event, but what I liked the most was the Dead Sea Scrolls Exhibition in the Museum of Nature and Science in Denver. Especially for me, since I concentrate on Biblical studies, this was amazing exhibit. Everything I learned about Second Temple Era became somehow more real, more imaginable. At least for me, it really was- breathtaking!
