to be honest, I really stoped counting my time in Texas. everything here is big, large, long, huge…so I have to be here for a veeeery long time, and counting every enormous long week is monstrously boring (big) activity! 😀

but now, if you are curious, how was my week, let me tell you ! 🙂

so, this week I was in a CAMP!!!! because, anyone in America can NOT skip a summer camp! 🙂 the name of camp ( actually it´s  a name of the place where this  camp is located), is Lutherhill. another big area in Texas, with high ropes, pool, pond, many cabins and other buildings, roads, chapel, labyrinth, small worship palaces, and so on. I was staying in a house called the Ark ( well probably it was named after Noe´s ark, but that one in Luterhill is surprisingly not so big as Noe´s) with sponsors. as everywhere, these people were very nice to me, they helped me with everything, and talked to me, and I had a really good time with them 🙂

every day we startd with breakfast ( actually there was jump start at 7.30, but I was never able to jump for it 😀 ) and then we had presentation of last day photos of campers and their activities, then worship, bible studies, post bible study bonanza, and lunch. afternoon program was different every day, and of course kids were divided to different groups, according their age and these groups had different programs . kids form our church in swiss alp, were in program which was called adventurer, they did high ropes, hiking, all day out camp swimming, and they also descended the Colorado river. which was realy cool activity, however I burned my arms 😛 so , lesson of the day : if you want to be all day long out and the sun is shining, put your suntan cream on after you take off your T-shirt, if not, your arms will suffer, I grant you! 😛 🙂

and still one thing remains, what I would like to tell you. this week I read 1,2 Samuel´s book. the story about David. and I tell you , if you had not read it before, read it now! It is such an interesting story, and what I really realized, by reading that was, that when Saul died, David lamented over Saul. it was the same David, who had to fled before Saul, because he wanted to kill him! Saul wanted David´s death, but David lamented over this man. he was supposed to celebrate his death, no more fear, no more pursuing.  I would hate Saul if I would be David, but he didn´t.  this remained me, about us. how many times happenes, that we hate someone. Because he/she made something wrong to us, maybe he/she hate us as well, or did bad things to us, so we are very unpleased , and we just can not love that person. But, it is not right. It´s natural, but not right. we must love this “mistaken” people. trust Lord God, as David trusted Him, and love our enemies, although it is really hard.  And, one more thing (last one, I promise) as David faced Goliath, we often have to faced our problems, and troubles, but as long as we trust to Lord, we never failed. Even when it looks like we did. it´s just lesson to teach us something, we never learned if our life would be like Rose garden.
