It has been two weeks since I wrote here. I apologize for that.

Now let’s see what did I do. Well, besides the things I do everyday (taking a shower, eating…) like doing pastoral visits with Pastor Chris (bringing communion to those, who can’t attend church or are sick or something else) I went to another camp last week.

the name of the camp was Bridge builders: “Formerly know as Leadership Training School, advanced Leadership Training School, and BRRICK Camp, Bridge Builders is a two track program designed to develop leaders in today’s church and world, hone peer ministry skills, and inspire awareness & advocacy in the fight against racism. Bridge Builders Track 1 (or equivalent) is required for attendance in Bridge Builders Track 2, as these two program years intentionally build off of one another. In an ever changing & diverse world, Bridge Builders equips campers to change the world with love for their neighbor.“(http://www.elcalivingwater.com/summer/summer-programs/)

With pastor Julie and Katie from Immanuel (Muskegon) and some other pastor we were the leading people of track 2. I lead a study group and we talked about call, about how becoming a christian isn’t just once in a life time event, but it’s somenthing that is with us for all our lives. We looked at prophets Samuel and Jeremiah. I explaind them that the word prophet (in hebrew nabi) can in it’s original version means not only prophesize, but also speak before people, what they as leaders should be able to do. They also had to write theire own personal mission statment (We explored the mission statment of Jeremiah and Jesus Christ).

The week at camp was a full one with meating new people, learning, teaching.

This week I moved to my next host, and that is pastor Kennet Michnay.

Also this week I preached the second time since I am here. In the sermon we learned a little more about the Kingdom of Heaven.

Wish you a blessed week 🙂
