Day Camp.

This week was amazing! I´ve been to a Day Camp in Whitehall (at the Lebanon Lutheran Church where my classmate Zuzana is an intern during the summer). It was so great to spend a whole week with kids and counselors in this congregation. Lauren (one member of Dr. M. Luther church) was bringing me up every morning to Whitehall and then taking me back to Muskegon. I´m really thankful for that 🙂

The leaders of Day Camp came from Stony Lake Lutheran Camp and they taught kids about faith and ways to trust God according to persons from the Bible (Abraham, Joseph, Esther, Peter, Maria Magdalene). We were also singing many children´s Christian songs. The kids appreciated that. Every day they had Bible studies and played a lot of games.

One afternoon we spent at a swiming pool which was amazing time for kids but also for adults. Thursday we went to North Muskegon State Park and tried the luge. That was so adventurous for all of us.

Friday was the last day at Day Camp. That afternoon we played water games which was so funny not just for kids, but also for counselors and leaders 🙂 Then we had ice cream (so great during the hot day). At the end we all were singing a song in front of parents which pastor Ogden taught kids during the week.

We had a wonderful and blessed time!
