I was attending the church since I was a little baby. I used to sit next to my granda and I was amazed by our pastor. I was one of the good behaving kids. While I was growing up, there were more kids who were coming to the church every Sunday. Our pastor decided that it is time fore Sunday school. We had two really nice teachers and I still remember all the songs and stories that we learnt. We are still in touch with the kids from Sunday school and we became really good friends. Now that I study to become a pastor I realized that it is very important to work with kids in churches from vey young age. 

When I came to the congregation in Muskegon, I saw only two kids. They are singlings and I would consider them as the nicest kids. I was surprised that there are not many more running around. Turns out that we have about five or six more kids. All of them are fun to be around and to work with. Many of them had pretty busy summer, but I was little bit sad that there is no programme formthem in the church. We decided to organize Kid’s night. We ordered pizza, played some games, learnt new songs and the kids were listening to Noah’s story. They even played a skit and they were really excited about it. 

Not only the jids but also parents were happy about this idea. They were glad that their kids could be in the church and make new friends. And Inwas glad that we could organize something and just spent time with them. Hopefully, the church will continue with this activity even after summer.
