Dear friends! My name is Zuzana Chocholová. I’m 24 years old. I’m studying the theology in Evangelical Lutheran Theological Faculty, Comenius University. I’ve finisher my third year in the Seminary. And this summer I’m spending a time in USA. I’m an intern in Lebanon Lutheran Church in Whitehall, Michigan.

I live in a small town – Michalovce. It’s to the east of Bratislava, which is the capital city of Slovakia. The city has around 45 000 peoples. Near Michalovce is the second largest lake which is called Zemplínska Šírava. My mom is Kamila and she is a kindergarten teacher. My dad is Peter and his job is about animals. He works on the farm. I have one brother. We have one pet whose name is Ali and it is a dog.

How I choose that I want to be a pastor? First I started to study a social work but after two years I decided to switch my program and I started to study a theology. I think that influenced me my classmate around me and I’m more interest study about God.

My school has a relationship with ELCA. So, students who study a theology may come to the America and spend a time in one of American churches. I’m glad that I have this opportunity and so I may be here.
