I was so glad when I´ve enter U. S. and even more when I arrived to Muskegon. I was a little bit worried about the flight, but with God´s help I´m here 🙂 Five people were waiting for me and Zuzana (my classmate who is an intern in Whitehall) at the Muskegon airport. That was wonderful. I was so tired, but fortunately I got over time change and I could enjoy my first days in America.
The family I stayed with is so nice. I´ve been on lake Michigan which is awesome great lake in this country. I learned about Muskegon when we´ve been in a downtown and toured the lakeshore by bicycles. My first Sunday was great. I met a lot of people from the congregation and could talk with them. They are amazing and I´m so glad I´m among these people.
The first Monday I´ve been in Ann Arbor to see University of Michigan. I liked their library! I appreciate our library in Bratislava, but this was so wonderful and huge.
Some people form congregation took me for a trip to Indiana (Shippshewana). In Indiana, especially in this town, live Amish people (kind of American culture). It was very interesting to see them, their special dresses and behavior.
First week – exploring new places, food, culture and meeting awesome people. It´s so great to be here 🙂
