Hi everybody who is interested in my time I am spending in USA. My name is Simona and I´m an intern in Dr. Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church in Muskegon.

I´m a 23 old student of theology in Bratislava at Evanjelická bohoslovecká fakulta and I´ve just finished my fourth year. I live in village called Žehňa at the Eastern Slovakia. My father is a pastor there, so I come from a traditional Lutheran family. I have one younger brother (Michal – 20).

Our congregation has around 450 members. I so love to serve there. Most of my time I spend in Bratislava, so in my congregation I don´t serve so much as in the past. I´m an organist and help with working with kids, with leading our youth group, community prayer, or choir.

During high school I decided to study theology and I love it so much. It´s so great to explore the Bible, the background and times when the particular books had been written.

I´m so glad I have an opportunity to spend this summer in one of the American churches. It´s the first time I´m so long and so far from my home. I´m thankful to God I can be here and  have a lot of experiences in an American church. It´s already a month since I arrived to the   U. S. and I like to share with you about my time in America!
