Hello guys! It’s me again after a little break. Welcome back to my blog about my staying here in the USA.  How are you? I hope everything’s okay.

In this article you will be able to read more about my last two weeks in Toledo, in Grace Lutheran Church.

Beginning of the week started as usually, with meetings and planning things. During the week, I went with one lovely lady from the church, Linda, to the Boyd’s Candy shop. That is the oldest candy shop in Toledo. I’ve never seen so much candy and sweets in a one place. Amazing! I bought some of the sweets that we don’t have in Serbia and I cannot wait to share them with my friends and family.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday were days for going out and having nice time with friends. On Friday I went out with Milena and her friends in Detroit. We went to the Fillmore for the Taylor Swift party. It was amazing and we had so much fun. After party, we went to Ihop and had something to eat. On Saturday evening, Gretchen and Ron took me to a concert of an awesome rock band. It was marvelous. I really enjoyed it. Sunday was low-key until I went mini golf. Pastor Brenda and Gail took me to my first mini golf. That was just outstanding. I learned more about golf, rules there and I’m definitely now more interested in it. When I return to Serbia, I need to see where I can learn more and play golf there. After mini golf, I went with Ron and his friend Jo, to the driving range. I got couple of lessons how I should do that. It was pretty impressive and funny to watch people who know what they are doing and then me who has no idea how to do that, but I’m willing to learn. We finished the day with nice dinner, chatting and laughing together. We had great time.

My last week in Toledo was calm and little bit of sad. I couldn’t believe that two months went by so fast. During the week, we had usual church meetings and obligations.

On Wednesday we visited Art Museum in Toledo. It was marvelous. I was stunned by pictures and sculptures. We saw even some really famous pictures like portrait of Van Gogh. After museum, we went to Tony Pacos, famous Hungarian restaurant. I tried stuffed cabbage rolls and they were really authentic. ( Stuffed cabbage rolls are also traditional meal in Serbia).

Sunday was my last day in Grace Lutheran Church ,Toledo.  It was emotional but I’m also happy because I have chance to see other congregations and churches.

It’s really strange how people, who were basically strangers, become very dear to you in such a short period of time. I will miss them so much.

Even though we are different, we don’t live in the same place, we don’t dress the same, Jesus sees as the same. We are all brothers and sisters in the eyes of  Jesus.

I hope you enjoyed reading my blog.

Have a nice and blessed week!
