A written summary highlighting the 100th anniversary Synod Assembly can be found on the Slovak Zion Synod app and website. This summary is suitable for sharing with your congregation through your newsletter, Sunday bulletin, or personally by you in a report to the congregation. We encourage you to use it with your congregation so that they can get an overview of the important work we do together in our relationships as the Body of Christ.
Also, as a voting member of the Assembly, you’re eligible to receive a reimbursement for the costs of your travel, up to $200 per person. In keeping with the spirit of ELCA practice that expense vouchers be submitted within 30 days of the event, we are asking that all expense voucher forms be submitted within 30 days of the sending of this email.
Additionally, we’d like to take this opportunity to ask that you share some of your experiences with us from this recent Assembly by completing a short survey. A few minutes of your time can help us evaluate the extent to which we attained our intended goals and outcomes and help us with planning future Synod events.
