We’re less than 24 hours away from setting sail on our 2019 Synod Assembly and 100th Anniversary Celebration. We hope you’re as excited as we are!
If you have not received your boarding documents for the sailing by this time, you must contact us or complete your check in tonight. Carnival’s online check in system will lock the sailing at 11:59 PM EST, and after that time you will be unable to access your booking.
Many of you are arriving into the Ft. Lauderdale area today, and the rest of you will be arriving tomorrow morning. There will be isolated and intermittent thunderstorms, with clear sun and sky in between them, both today and tomorrow. We are otherwise expecting clear skies for our scheduled ports of call this week.
Our Assembly app this year will be hosted by Guidebook. Voting Members can download the Guidebook app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store for your smartphone and tablet device. Once downloaded, you’ll tap on the “Find Guides” tab on the bottom of the screen and select the “Have a Passphrase” option. Type in the passphrase “A2019” in order to download our guide. We recommend creating a user account on guidebook and checking in on our guide to best utilize all of its features.
After embarkation, dinner will begin for all of our participants at 6:00 PM tomorrow evening. Following dinner, our registration desk will open beginning at 7:30 PM in the Vibe Club on Deck 5 and remain open until 9:30 PM. Everyone needs to register (both voting members of the assembly as well as visitors on our cruise). Also, there’s no need to rush to the registration desk, since it will remain open for two hours.
