My week started on a bison ranch with the Hammond family. These animals are enormous! After seeing the farm and feeding them from a pick-up, I had a chance to try bison meat, which is supposedly much healthier than beef. Tasted just a bit differently, though.\"\"<\/a>
\n\"\"<\/a>On Wednesday, I went to Vermilion (a little town on the shore of the lake Erie) with our organist. We took a boat around the lagoons and on the lake, and then had a dinner in the Old Prague restaurant. It was very interesting to taste food I usually have at home. I also played the organ a little, as learning to play the piano (and organ) was one of my goals for the summer.
\n\"\"<\/a>I preached at the service in Hinckley on Thursday. It was nice to share my message with the people there, they were very welcoming. I really liked their church, because it\u2019s very different from the one in Brooklyn. Generally, the buildings are much more diverse than our churches back in Slovakia.
\nOur second wedding took place on Saturday, preceded by Friday\u2019s rehearsal. Although everything seemed to be going smoothly, just a hour and a half before, we received a call, saying: \u201cWe have a problem.\u201d We found out that the dresses of the bride and the bridesmaids were destroyed by a sprinkler gone off, as they had hung their dresses on it. Anyway, they managed the catastrophic situation very calmly, we just started with a little delay. This is surely a memory I\u2019ll remember for a long time.
\nToday is a bit hectic, as we have two services and a dinner at the Redeemer. I\u2019m trying to stay busy and do as much as I can to help people around me, or enjoy the rest of my time in this country of opportunity<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
