My name is Simona and I\u00b4m an\u00a0intern in Dr. Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church in Muskegon.<\/p>\n<p>I\u00b4m a 23 old student of theology in Bratislava at Evanjelick\u00e1 bohosloveck\u00e1 fakulta and I\u00b4ve just finished my fourth year. I\u00a0live in village called \u017deh\u0148a at the Eastern Slovakia. My father is a\u00a0pastor there, so I\u00a0come from a traditional Lutheran family. I\u00a0have one younger brother (Michal \u2013 20).<\/p>\n<p>Our congregation has around 450 members. I so\u00a0love to serve there. Most of my time I\u00a0spend in Bratislava, so in my congregation I\u00a0don\u00b4t serve so much as\u00a0in the past. I\u00b4m an organist and help with working with kids, with leading our youth group, community prayer, or choir.<\/p>\n<p>During high school I\u00a0decided to study theology and I\u00a0love it so much. It\u00b4s so great to explore the Bible, the background and times when the particular books had been written.<\/p>\n<p>I\u00b4m so glad I\u00a0have an opportunity to spend this summer in one of the American churches. It\u00b4s the first time I\u00b4m so long and so far from my home. I\u00b4m thankful to God I\u00a0can be here and\u00a0 have a\u00a0lot of experiences in an American church. It\u00b4s already a month since I\u00a0arrived to the\u00a0\u00a0 U.
