So, today marks my first monthiversary of my second visit to USA. That means five more months! Time sure flies on this side of the pond.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s new with me, you ask? Well I had my first sermon last Sunday! Not my best work, I must admit, but there were some who said it spoke to them \u2013 so I\u2019m glad for that. I quoted John Wayne and Tolkien so it couldn\u2019t have been so bad. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

I also got to help out with the Communion.<\/p>\n

What else? I decided which courses I want to take at Gettysburg:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Studies in the Epistles of the New Testament<\/li>\n
  2. Luther and Augustine on Salvation, Truth, and Christian Life<\/li>\n
  3. Chance, Necessity, Love: A Pastoral Theology of Cancer<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    So I\u2019m already looking forward to the classes and the library, which I heard was very good.<\/p>\n

    I had my weekly pastor\u2019s Bible study again where we discussed the Scripture readings for the next Sunday.<\/p>\n

    I usually take pictures of places that I visit during my week, so I can remember what I did. Since I don\u2019t have a lot of pictures this week and it\u2019s already past midnight, I can\u2019t remember anything else worth mentioning in the blog. If I remember anything I\u2019ll write another post. Next week is going to be interesting \u2013 tomorrow I\u2019m having lunch with one of the pastors from Reading, there is a very interesting breakfast\/bible study waiting for me on Friday and (as I mentioned already) I\u2019m going to help out with the baptism and worship at Christ Lutheran church with pastor Katie.<\/p>\n
